After hinting to us a potential collaboration with PUMA in his “Moves’ visual, it has been officially announced that Big Sean now serves as Creative Collaborator and Global Ambassador of the brand.
Ending his 8-year relationship with adidas (home of Kanye West and Pharrell), Big Sean joins Rihanna, The Weeknd, and many other celebrities who’ve created countless designs and continue to elevate the reputation of the PUMA brand. Like every brand ambassador, Big Sean will be creating his own custom apparel under the brand which is set to release Spring of 2018. The Detroit rapper teased a couple looks for the upcoming line in his latest cover story with GQ Magazine.
Here’s what Puma’s Global Director For Brand Marketing Adam Petrick had this to say about the partnership:
We are thrilled to have Big Sean on board. Anyone who’s followed him throughout his career will know that his talent goes beyond music. His passion for creativity and individuality is very strong. We’ve already kicked off the design process with Sean and we’re glad to see a fusion of his unique style and PUMA’s sports heritage coming through. We’re very pleased to welcome Sean to the PUMA family.
PUMA will also be serving as one of the sponsors of Big Sean’s I Decided tour. Congratulations Sean!
