The 2017 BET Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday June 25th and some of today’s biggest and brightest entertainers and athletes were at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California to celebrate a year of excellence in black entertainment.
While in L.A. on the 2017 BET Awards Red Carpet, we caught up with rapper/singer/actress Lil Mama. Lil Mama recently has taken a brief break with music to pursue her acting career. Lil Mama spoke on her transition into film with her role as Left Eye, her role in the film “Born In The Game” and her upcoming film “When Love Kills” starring Lance Gross and Tami Roman directed by Tasha Smith. Before concluding the interview, Lil Mama spoke on her 2017 endeavors and her plans to continue to make music.
