What a night for Atlanta Hawks fans. A career night from Ersan Ilyasova helped the Atlanta Hawks beat up a win at home on a cold and snowy Saturday night at Philips Arena.
On Saturday night, the Atlanta Hawks picked up a (117-110) victory against the Orlando Magic to pick up their sixth win of the season. Hawks forward Ersan Ilyasova was on fire Saturday night scoring 10 of the Hawks first 14 points and finishing the night perfect from the field. Ersan Ilyasova scored 26 points going (9-9) from the field along with 4 assist.
Hawks forward Kent Bazemore was also key to the Hawks victory. Kent scored 6 points in the finals 20 seconds of action in the fourth quarter to seal the deal. Kent Bazemore finished with 19 points on (7-12) shooting with 6 rebounds and 7 assist. Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder finished with 18 points. Taurean Prince finished the night with 10 points.
For the Orlando Magic, Nikola Vucevic had a big night dropping a triple-double against the Hawks. Vucevic finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assist. Magic high flyer Johnathan Simmons had a career-high against the Hawks. Simmons added 29 points for Orlando. Orlando Magic stars Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier both missed Atlanta’s matchup due to injury.
The Hawks will be back in action looking to make it two wins in a row on Sunday as they head to the Big Apple to face the New York Knicks. The Hawks will return to Philips Arena on Thursday December 14th to host the Detroit Pistons as Atlanta rap artist Jeezy will perform a halftime. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news.
