The Denver Nuggets are looking to make some noise in the West Conference during this 2017-18 NBA Season. After a successful offseason where the Nuggets added former Atlanta Hawks all-star Paul Millsap, the Nuggets have added another veteran with a lot of game left to their roster.
Former Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Richard Jefferson has agreed to a one year, $2.3 million dollar deal with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets will most likely waive point guard Jameer Nelson to make move on the roster for Jefferson. Despite the other moves made in the West this offseason, I thought the Nuggets would make the postseason this season and the addition of Richard Jefferson with his leadership in the locker could take the Nuggets to the sixth or seventh seed come April 2018.
The Denver Nuggets tip off the 2017-18 NBA season on Wednesday October 18th in Salt Laker City against the Utah Jazz. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your NBA and sports news.
