On Wednesday December 6th Uptown Sound’s own Anakin,D Bop’em,Band Gang Diego & BG Beezy joined Terrell Thomas at the desk on These Urban Times to discuss their new project ‘For The Low’ and much more.
With Uptown Sound’s 13 track project currently available on Spinrilla, Anakin,D Bop’em,Band Gang Diego & BG Beezy spoke on how the project came together and they each named their favorite track from ‘For The Low’. Natives of Gwinnett Country, Anakin,D Bop’em,Band Gang Diego & BG Beezy spoke on their relationships with Los Angeles Clippers star Lou Williams and they chimed in on the Mayoral race in Atlanta.
Although Anakin,D Bop’em,Band Gang Diego & BG Beezy move as a collective, they are each doing things individually as well. Bop & Anakin spoke on recently being featured on Lou Will’s project ‘The Album That Never Was’ that was released on Tidal. Band Gang Diego spoke on his single “Way Up” that is heating up the club scene here in Atlanta. Anakin informed us that has a new project set to release 2018, ‘Hustle 24 Vol. 2′ and D Bop’em spoke on his upcoming project ‘Where Da Marta Don’t Go 2’.
Before concluding the interview, Terrell Thomas also spoke with Uptown Sounds own Anakin,D Bop’em,Band Gang Diego & BG Beezy on their favorite sneaker releases of 2017, their 2017-18 NBA MVP prediction and their plans for the year 2018.
