The 2017 WNBA season kicks off this spring and before the ladies get back on the court, the Atlanta Dream is bringing in the new year with a new look.
The 10th season logo, which was designed to commemorate the organizations historic season, will be shared with fans prior to tonight’s Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball game at McCamish Pavilion. Dream season ticket-holders in attendance will hear from Co-Owner Mary Brock, President Theresa Wenzel and Head Coach Michael Cooper as the organization continues preparation for the upcoming season.
“We are thrilled to share our special logo to highlight our 10th season in the WNBA,” Wenzel said. “The 2017 season will be one to celebrate our past while defining our future in the Atlanta community. We want everyone to Run with the Dream in 2017.”
The logo will be used throughout the 2017 season to excite Atlanta Dream fans through merchandise, marketing and promotional items. Special events around the 10th season anniversary will be announced at a later date.
The Dream opens the season at home on Sunday, May 21 against the visiting Chicago Sky. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more WNBA news. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your Atlanta Dream, WNBA and sports news.
