Philly area singer James Knight drops off his brand new album called “Freedom of Sound”. This 13 song album showcases his range as a writer and performer with styles ranging from pop/rock to hip-hop & soul.
In an exclusive phone interview with HHS87.com James stated that the “Freedom of Sound” title was inspired by his independent work as an artist and not being pinned down by a label to produce one particular sound. The freedom of an independent artist is clearly on display as he stated this album was a vision from long ago.
The album is also inspired by classics of recording and legends of the music business. The choice in so many vibes is to add a true performance element to the album with a song for any type of situation. The album is inspired throughout, even to the last track “One Last Cry”.
