Kanye has been overdue for another album following mixed reviews from his latest solo project, ‘ye.‘ After teaming up with Kid Cudi this Summer on joint album ‘Kids See Ghosts‘–Kanye finally quits contributing to the suspense via social media, and finally has a release date for new album, ‘Yandhi’ which will be Saturday, September 29th, 2018.
We will all get to listen to ‘Yandhi’ simultaneous with watching Ye’s anticipated Saturday Night Live performance (I see what you did there Kanye). Expected features include 6ix9ine, Ty Dolla $ign, and the late XXXTentacion–Rihanna has even been pulled in to do vocals on one of the tracks. Kanye has also shown appreciation for ‘The Carter V’ and has openly accepted the back seat that he may have to take to Lil’ Wayne’s anticipated release.
Kanye tweeted, “We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely. The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time.”
