Yesterday, it was announced that the Philadelphia 76ers and their head coach Brett Brown have agreed to a three year extension. Brown’s new deal with assure that he is the head coach for the Sixers through the 2021-2022 season.
Now that Brett Brown is lock into a new deal, the next move for the Sixers will be planning for the 2018 NBA offseason. With probably players such as LeBron James, Paul George and maybe Chris Paul slated to be free agents this Summer, the Sixers could land a big named free agent to assist in the “Process”. The Sixers are about $25 million under the salary cap and can offer a key player a major deal.
