On the heels of his SXSW debut, which included standout performances noted by the likes of Billboard, Think It’s A Game Records’ newest rising star Posa releases his debut EP “BOLO” today. The five-track EP, available now on all streaming platforms, puts Posa‘s versatility and story-telling ability on full display, supported by a team of up-and-coming producers who each partner with the Mobile, AL rapper to create a different mood.
The EP’s title is an acronym, which Posa and his comrades in Mobile have adopted as a code of conduct of sorts. “BOLO stands for ‘Being Only Loyal Once,'” he explains. “To me, that means no second chances and standing on what you believe in the first time and never folding.”
The new release features Posa‘s introductory single, “In A Minute” featuring label mate Q Money, which has already found the support of fans, garnering over one million views on YouTube. If the success of this single, and the nearly 500k streams accumulated on Spotify by the Moneybagg Yo-assisted”Big Dawg” has accumulated on Spotify are any indication, “BOLO” is sure to cement Posa‘s position as a new fan favorite.
