Hip-Hop artist, and producer Darnell Roy is back with his soulful and expressive new track “Startender,” featuring K-Major. Darnell is the grandson of the legendary Sylvia Robinson, who founded Sugarhill Records. Darnell is currently the President of Sugar Hill Records, and he is also the owner of his own record label Rich Clique Entertainment. Roy seeks to continue building the family empire through Sugar Hill but is also pushing to establish his own identity through Rich Clique. Some of you may remember Darnell from his opulent 16th birthday party that was on MTV’s Super Sweet 16.
Others may recognize him from his television show “First Family of Hip Hop” on Bravo TV. We have heard that Roy is currently in negotiations to star as part of a very well known television franchise. With the release of “Startender,” Roy proves that he will continue to live up to, innovate, and build his family’s legacy.
