Directed by JuddyRemixDem, the video finds Mal rocking a patch-covered denim jacket and a bright-orange pair of horn-rimmed sunglasses as he kicks back with friends (NLE Choppa and BlocBoy JB). With co-signs like that, plus the support of his 1017 Eskimo label boss Gucci Mane, it’s only a matter of time before Mal reaches the next level.
“Started Actin’ Funny” is Mal’s first new song since the release of Iceburg, Mal’s debut solo mixtape. The mixtape hosted a long line of successful singles, including the recent “Toothpaste,” the Gunna-featuring “War” (469k views), the head-nodding lyrical exercise “#’s“, “Fresh” featuring Gucci Mane, and the exotic slapper “Action,” featuring Lil GotIt.
