On Saturday October 6th, the 2019 BET “Hip Hop Awards” returned to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center and many of today’s biggest entertainers were in the building. As the night got started, Terrell Thomas (Eldorado) and Danny Digital were on the scene conducting live interviews on the Sprite green carpet.
While on the 2019 BET Hip-Hop Awards green carpet we caught up Hip-Hop artist Young Dolph. Young Dolph and his Paper Route Empire partner Key Glock recently have been enjoying the success of their project ‘Dum & Dummer’ over the past few months. However, when Dolph its in the booth, one of his favorite pastimes is catching a Memphis Tigers basketball game.
With the start of the college basketball season right around the corner, Young Dolph was recently a guest a “Memphis Madness” as the Memphis Tiger celebrate the upcoming season. Terrell Thomas spoke with Young Dolph about Penny Hardaway’s impact to Memphis as the Tigers head coach, the Tigers upcoming year and he informed us that new music is on the way.
The 2019 BET “Hip Hop Awards” will premiere on Tuesday October 8th, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
