Check out Beat Boy‘s new video for “Salty” feat Fatboy SSE & Rob Vicious today!
“Salty” follows last week’s video release for, “Walk’n In Em” featuring Westside Stew which was created as a new anthem for West Coast “walking culture.” Both tracks are from Beat Boy’s long awaited debut mixtape, NewDre which released on 7/31 via OTR Records.
NewDre is a sonic and cultural distillation of the streets of L.A. featuring Beat Boy’s regionally defining production paired with his meticulously curated selection of features from L.A.’s most promising new artists: Fenix Flexin’, Rucci, Fatboy SSE, White John, Niko G4, Rob Vicious, Master Kato, Westside Stew, Big Sad 1900, mBnel, SlumLordTrill, and Swifty Blue. Having also produced for such globally recognized artists as Nipsey Hussle, T.I, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, E-40, Odd Future, and others, Beat Boy has finally embraced his role as one of the cultural pillars of L.A. rap music. Like Dr. Dre and DJ Mustard before him, Beat Boy is a platinum selling pioneer among producers who’s laying the foundation for the sound of the West Coast for years to come.
