Hip-hop legend Too $hort released a brand new music video for his single, “Oaklandish (feat. Guapdad 4000 and Rayven Justice),” which is off his newly-released bundle album with E-40 that came out on Friday, Dec. 18. As part of the joint release, Too $hort unveiled his 22nd solo studio album, Ain’t Gone Do It, while E-40 released his 27th solo studio album, Terms and Conditions, and it peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes Top Rap and Hip-Hop charts.

Directed by Embryo, the “Oaklandish” visual serves as a tribute to the Bay Area and highlights $hort’s ties to the community. The video includes sweeping, panoramic images of iconic views and landmarks in the area, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge, as well as appearances from E-40, Guapdad 4000 and Rayven Justice.
The video release comes on the heels of Too $hort’sepic Verzuz battle against E-40, which took place on Dec. 19 and drew almost 3 million combined viewers between Apple Music and Instagram Live. Both legends went head-to-head for three hours, highlighting their impressive discographies and playing fan favorites en route to becoming the third highest tweeted Verzuz battle ever.
