Really Rio is from a small city in the bay area known as Richmond, California. His life was always a challenge but he made the best of it and became determined trying to succeed in life. He always had potential at being something greater than the ones he looked up to as a kid. Rio jumped schools in his childhood and started his music career with friends that had the same vision as him in the local music scene. His crew did lots of shows all over and was known all over the world, in fact they almost signed a major deal but the numbers didn’t add up so they turned it down as the years went by. In 2009 he got wrapped up with the law ended up going to prison for almost 4 years and that affected his career. Being away from his team their music slowed down and the group separated. His group known as the “Da 3for1deal” came to an end. Really Rio is back on the grind continuing to pursue his solo career. His music speaks to the youth and all the open ears of the world.
We asked Really Rio a few things and this is something he wanted to share with anyone who reads this.
