The festival’s second day brought slightly warmer weather and a busier slate of artists, all hungry to make their mark on the sold out festival crowd.
The night featured a headlining performance from J. Cole, who played songs from The Off-Season and performed with his Dreamville signee Bas, and an unexpected Rae Sremmurd reunion between Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, who connected on stage to perform their #1 hit “Black Beatles.” Rolling Loud hosted a tribute set for the late Young Dolph, featuring performances from his Paper Route Empire signees Snupe Bandz and Paper Route Woo, and a cameo from Curren$y to play his Dolph collab “All Work.”
Rolling Loud wouldn’t be Rolling Loud without a thrilling undercard, featuring red hot names like Jack Harlow and Aminé. Saturday brought performances from some of the most exciting women in rap, including Rico Nasty, who brought fierce energy, Kali, who performed at her first-ever Rolling Loud, and Kaash Paige’s cloudy euphoria, along with XXL freshman Lakeyah, TikTok sensation ppcocaine, and more. Scintillating sets from California local heroes like Bino Rideaux, AzChike, Rucci, and more.
