Charizmia was 16 when she found her passion for music. “That’s what I wanted to do,” the Alabama-born, American – based rapper told writers. “that was what I wanted to be. I wanted to be an artist, so I made up my mind at that age”.
Fast forward a few years later, Charizmia is now one of Alabama’s most promising artists. Now, the 25-year-old has released a new single, “Lavish”. Lavish is a song about the way Charizmia wants to live her life. “I just want to live my life lavish going hard grinding for times I ain’t have shit” Charizmia wrote. During the interview with Disrupt Magazine she was asked to define the meaning of lavish and this is what she said. “ To me, being able to live a luxurious lifestyle is the definition of lavish. I grew up in poverty and could never afford fancy items. I couldn’t stand living in misery any longer, so I had no choice but to find a way out. I was able to realise my aspirations and live the life I imagined through trusting in god and visualising my desires.”
Her sister and uncle are among those who have assisted Charizmia in achieving her goals. During the 1990s, her uncle was a rapper. This is what prompted her to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a musician. Her sister was also the one who showed her around a studio for the first time.
Charizmia plans on releasing a debut album sometime in the future. Stay on the lookout!
