A considerable number of renowned rappers have hailed from this city, and more are starting to emerge. Therefore, to stand out in the industry, the rapper must be one-of-a-kind.
People who are into rap music are constantly searching for artists who can rock different production styles and a variety of sounds. Unfortunately, it’s not that often that you can see a rapper who can achieve such standards. This is why Sonel Francois, who many now know as Kool Rula, is a rare find. His unparalleled skill in rapping made him go viral online, with tens of thousands of followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Kool Rula’s uniqueness is thanks to his ability to adapt to diverse genres and production styles. He uses his mastery of different genres by combining them, therefore producing music unlike any other. This isn’t a talent that can be taught, so not many can easily reach his level of creativity. To get his inspiration flowing, he also listens to songs with different music genres.
Kool Rula always aims to be unrivalled, even against his very own music. In 2018, he published the song “No Failure”, and a year after, he followed it with “Around the Corner” and “Smackin’.” In 2020, he was able to land a project with the music artist Ali Coyote, and they worked together on the track “Want Me.” More recently, he released “Relentless”, featuring Lexx Lunar.
Currently, Kool Rula is focusing on his upcoming solo debut extended play “Chill Boy,” which will be released on different music streaming platforms later this year. He wants to reach more people with this music and reach greater heights as a rapper. He also has his eyes set on doing business with renowned brands and becoming a movie director. With his current momentum, one can say that he will be successful in reaching his goals.
