It’s a dope collaboration between two UK emcees this week. “Catch Up” features Potter Payper from East London as well as M Huncho from North West London. The song was produced by Roselilah, and the duo rap about their current wealth and success:
In addition to the music, “Catch Up” includes an accompanying video, created by Darnell Depradine, which keeps the focus on the music, adding in special effects to depict Payper and Huncho performing in different settings dressed to the nines.
After his well-publicized release from prison, Potter Payper has struggled to find a foothold in the world. A highlight of the year was his release of the four-track EP 2020 Vision and a top-of-the-list appearance on GRM Daily’s “Daily Duppy” series. Several months later, he would release the third installment of his well-received Training Day series, which had 24 cuts and an assist from Mover.
In addition, M Huncho’s 2020 was quite noteworthy due to Huncholini the 1st featuring 13 tracks and contributions from Headie One, Nafe Smallz, and D-Block Europe. Additionally to three of the album’s highlights, “Bando Ballads,” “Thumb,” and “Pee Pee,” placing high on the UK Singles Chart, Huncholini also received a top five spot on the UK Albums Chart. Besides his solo debut, Huncho reunited with Smallz for their collaboration DNA, a well-received new project.
