Daily Squad started small with Matthieu Miguel recording both the vocals and instruments in his studio. When the project started, there were not many who expected it to get a spotlight and be received well by the audience. Daily Squad worked with 3mon and Hatim to create the masterpiece “Make It Back” that got a good reception from the audience and gave Matthieu the chance to sign with an independent label, Simplify Records.
His debut song was a hit and many started to focus more on Daily Squad and anticipated more new tracks. This then led to Matthieu releasing his official remix for “Your Touch” by Caravn, Simock, and The Fifth Guys in December 2020. He reached 30.8k streams, 1.3k total hours of playback, and 26.3k listeners from 89 different countries for his tracks on Spotify in 2020.
For just a few months into 2021, Daily Squad has already released three new tracks. In January, he released “Nothing Left” along with Andrea Hamilton. This track was his first self-release and it was received well by his audience. who also worked with him for his next project. In April, he released “Brave” with Isura, featuring Andrea Hamilton.
Daily Squad is slowly establishing itself as a project to watch out for with its captivating new releases. Matthieu Miguel believes that it won’t be long until the project gets a lot of recognition from professionals in the music industry and becomes successful.
