It’s been two years since Post Malone released Hollywood’s Bleeding, an album of 17 songs boasting a who’s who of famous hip-hop and pop guests such as Travis Scott, DaBaby, Halsey, Future, Ozzy Osbourne, Meek Mill, , SZA, Lil Baby, Young Thug, and Swae Lee. During its first week, Hollywood’s Bleeding sold 489,000 equivalent album units – half of which were pure albums. It was also Post Malone’s second number one album. The Texas star has since contributed to several high-profile tracks by his peers, such as Justin Bieber’s “Forever,” Saweetie’s “Tap In (Remix),” Juice WRLD’s “Life’s A Mess II,” Big Sean’s “Wolves,” DJ Khaled’s “I DID IT” and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Spicy.” Pokemon’s 25th anniversary digital concert also featured him.
“Motley Crew” marks the announcement of the campaign for a new Post Malone album. D.A. got that dope Louis Bell-produced summer jam that sees him crooning about the typical rich nightlife:
Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade have put together an accompanying clip for “Motley Crew” that shows Post Malone driving a Rolls-Royce Cullinan along a NASCAR track afterwards. Additionally, there are welcome cameos from Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, Montana, Tyga, and more – even Mötley Crüe icon Tommy Lee participates in the show. In short, Post remains in first place.
