Today, DMV rap collective Glizzy Gang , led by Grammy nominated artist Shy Glizzy, release their newest compilation mixtape Don’t Feed The Sharks. While the all members of Shy Glizzy’s Glizzy Gang label roster come from all over the DMV (DC, Maryland & Virginia) for this latest offering the crew had assistance from Louisiana native NBA Youngboy and Toronto native Pressa. The mixtape also comes alongside the music video for “No Feelings” which feature the label boss himself. Also found on the tape are the previously released singles “Ridiculous” and “Mood Switch” both of which feature Glizzy Gang’s newest signee No Savage and “Mafioso” ft. Shy Glizzy, 3 Glizzy, and Goo Glizzy.
Fans have been awaiting a new release from Shy since his 2020 album release Young Jefe 3. Now, Shy leads the charge in breaking some of the hottest rappers out of Washington, D.C (3 Glizzy, Taliban Glizzy, Goo Glizzy, Doe Glizzy, and No Savage) to the rest of the world. In addition to pushing the DMV culture forward, he also aims to spread the wealth. This past week, Shy announced the “Don’t Feed the Sharks” Pitch Competition which is be a shark-tank style pitch competition where small business owners and entrepreneurs have the chance of winning $10,000. As Glizzy Gang continues to grow and evolve, there will certainly be no shortage of heat out of the DMV.
