Curren$y and the Jet Life family collaborated successfully to release the second volume of Welcome To Jet Life Recordings last week. In addition to the members of the home team, the 14-track collection features Fendi P, T.Y., Black Cobain, Jay Worthy, and more. For the follow-up to the release, Curren$y worked with T.Y. Fans of Curren$y know there is no Curren$y visual that is complete without a plethora of fancy cars, and the new video for “Overhigh” is no exception. Curren$y starts the track off with his verse, where he surrounds himself with the best whips.
The album is the follow up to the collective’s first album for Jet Life Recordings, which was released in December 2020. In addition to Ten Tracks, familiar artists such as T.Y., G Style, Black Cobain, Alia Fieury, and more contributed to the project. Fan favorites include “Just Came Home” and “Neighborhood Superstar.”.
Recent months have been chock-full of music by Current Y for his fans, including The OutRunners, The Tonite Show with Curren$y with DJ Fresh, his label compilation Welcome to Jet Life Recordings, The Director’s Cut, Spring Clean with Fuse, and Bonus Footage the last three of which were also created alongside Fraud. In this year alone, he has released two projects his tenth studio album Collection Agency and NFT-exclusive Financial District, which included a virtual smoke session.
