The pandemic has been a time where some businesses have lost out and others have thrived. Although the music industry has been put on hold, it has been a time where aspiring artists have had a chance to work on their music and their dreams. Tatted Swerve is a prime example, and here is what he has to say about the pandemic’s impact on the music industry.
Being born in the 1990s, he grew up in an era surrounded by an array of music. His mother listened to soul and jazz while his father would blast rap tunes from all coasts.
His entry into the industry, however, didn’t happen until he was 16. His friend with a recording studio at the time invited him to record his own music, and since then he has always been heavily inspired by music.
Tatted Swerve went from rapping on the streets with his friends to recording in the studio every day, which soon turned him into an artist. Alongside his passion for music, he delved into the world of tattooing and painting.
In 2018, he continued his love for music and released his song “Come Home”, which has since become a big hit. Just a couple of years later, he and the entire world were hit with the pandemic.
Tatted Swerve points out that the pandemic was a huge setback for everyone, including inspiring artists from the music industry. Nevertheless, it has been a year where artists could gather their ideas and write with patience.
He writes music for himself and friends, and has pursued this love for writing songs throughout the pandemic. Since releasing his first big hit, Tatted Swerve has realized he has a burning ambition to be the best rap artist in the industry.
The pandemic certainly has been a time where aspiring ideas have been able to come to fruition. Slowly but surely, these burning desires are coming to life and have allowed artists such as Tatted Swerve to focus on the dreams they really want to come true.
