Born in 1999 in Mississippi, Tony was never destined for the music industry. He grew up in a sports-minded family where both his parents were excellent basketball players. From a young age, Tony had already shown great interest in sports. He was already playing park commission baseball and football at the age of five. He was always better than his mates and excelled in the two sports earning himself the nickname “Touchdown Tony” in football.
Playing in the Little league World Series in baseball was one of his first major achievements. With interest in sports, Tony found his way onto the basketball court while in the 7th grade. He drew lots of inspiration from his parents, who were great basketball players in their high school days. They were also great basketball coaches mentoring high school students.
Additionally, Tony’s deep love for his father made him transfer to Shaw High School where his dad was coaching. All he wanted was to play for his dad and make him proud. True to his desires, Tony was able to win the state championship titles twice with a runners-up title in 2017 within his four years in high school. He also excelled in academics earning himself a full basketball scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
In college, everything went on as expected till the second semester of his junior year. Tony was tired of suffocating the rapper in him. All his life, he had always wanted to be a musician. Playing basketball and excelling in academics was all to impress his parents. He was passionate about music, and he was ready to start a new career. Though in dismay, his parents had no alternative than to support their son. He was more than determined to pursue the music dream and make it happen.
To everyone’s shock, Tony is an excellent rapper, and it’s only a matter of time before he becomes an A-list artist in the near future. He has already made big moves in the industry by linking up with some of the best players. His debut album “Rich tony” is also doing exceptionally well with over 200K views on YouTube. He has featured several hip-hop artists, Sauce Walka, Peso Peso, Rizzoo Rizzoo, and Kenny Muney.
Tony aspires to grow his musical brand and dominate the industry. In the meantime, he is working hard to entertain his fast-growing fanbase.
