The multifaceted rapper hopped on the scene and immediately got to work! Initially, she launched her own record label, Diamond State Music Group stacked with an elite team. In 2019, she founded Diamond State Music Group with the assistance of her management team, Kalagistics, and began studying the music industry and investing in herself aggressively.
JuCee began rapping as a hobby shortly after graduating high school. Many times, it was simply for the sake of having fun with friends. Following advice from her Uncle Marty she began taking her passion more seriously and began honing her craft. As a result, she kicked off her music career by posting her music on Soundcloud.
During her college years, she would record her early works in a friend’s basement. Also whenever she had extra money, she would lock in studio time at Wavlab Studios in Wilmington, DE. Staying consistent, she’s landed opportunities such as performing at Magic City, Apache Café, as well as winning a rap competition. In fact, her and another artist, Mercy, were given the opportunity to take over NuRadio Station in Atlanta, GA with DJ Mook B from D4L.
Following a short hiatus, JuCee returns with her most recent release. The fire femcee took a break from rapping for a few years to finish school and pursue other avenues of income such as the army and corporate America. Since her debut single “Bananas” was dropped on her birthday, October 5th, in celebration of her comeback.
