Courtesy of Encore Music Group, rising roster signee, Lorey drops off his latest offering titled “Rhudeboy”. Following in his father’s footsteps of being a musician, Lorey hopes to use his music as a tool to push the culture and narrative forward. Wanting to leave a legacy that inspires generations to come.
This rising star comes as the son of Conga musician Juan Lorenzo, who had a prominent music career between the 1980s and the 2000s. Born Michael Lorenzo and reared in Queens, Lorey grew up surrounded by music. Influenced by his surroundings, his Dominican heritage, and the melting pot that is New York, his artistry is enhanced by diversity.
Lorey understands the footwork ahead of him coming from the home of hip hop. As a result, he’s staying consistent and determined to leave his imprint on the industry as one of the best.
Now, after a short hiatus, Lorey has returned with his most recent release. Following a three year break from the spotlight, his new single reflects his growth and focus in 2021. Released at the top of the month, the Dvtchie-produced record serves as the product of Loreys absence as he focused on his personal life. In celebration of its release, he accompanies it with the visuals. Really bringing the record to life.
For the single, he draws influence from his artwork, creativity, love of fashion (particularly Rhuigi Villaseor’s famed “Rhude” brand), and the fashion world as a whole. He wanted to bring fans a track that would halt people in their tracks. Bringing some much-needed vibes to wherever it is played.
Lorey has launched an intensive promotional effort in support of “Rhudeboy,” with the goal of connecting with more listeners via social media and increasing his streaming numbers in the coming months.
