Moneybagg Yo released his fourth studio album in April, titled A Gangster’s Pain. The album features 22 tracks and assists from Future, Kaash Paige, BIG30, Lil Durk, Polo G, Jhené Aiko, Pharrell Williams, and more. Moneybagg’s most successful effort to date debuted at number one on the Billboard charts in its first week of release, with 110,000 equivalent album units sold. As well as the title track, A Gangster’s Pain yielded well-received videos for “Shotta (Lala),” “Hard for the Next,” “Time Today,” “GO!,” “Free Promo,” and “A Gangster’s Pain.”
As part of the release of his latest single, ‘Wockesha,’ Moneybagg Yo has released another visual. YC, Javar Rockamore, This time and RealRed produce the track. Debarge’s sample shows the Memphis star expressing his apparent relationship with and addiction to everyone’s favorite cough syrup concoction throughout the track:
With its accompanying clip, Lil Wayne himself makes a guest appearance for the song’s iconic intro. Directed by BenMarc, the clip brings the song’s lyrics to life in amazing fashion. Moneybagg eventually finds himself on the floor of the sunken place, falling slowly into a giant cup of lean with Weezy watching from reality. Additionally, the clip shows Moneybagg spending a day with an imaginary, purple-haired woman, with pedestrians revealing that the woman is merely a floating styrofoam cup.
