Stephanie Don continues to impress us with her latest release, and there are plenty of reasons why we still love her. Taking advantage of Timbaland and Magoo’s 2001 classic “Drop”, the Don unleashes a series of non-stop straight bars over the newly released “Murda (Freestyle Badness)” clip. Eventually, the video ends with the precious co-sign of Timb himself, as Stefflon is seen on video talking to the legendary producer on FaceTime. Flowing with high energy, the UK star delivers a track that captures her signature style.
The singer, who has collaborated with many of her peers this year, has been on a collaborative roll as she participates in some remixes and joint tracks. You can hear mixes like Doja Cat’s and Saweetie “Best Friend (Remix)” as well as Yxng Bane’s “Birthday” and Shenseea’s “Rebel (Remix).”
Her previous project, “Can’t Let You Go (Remix)” in February, recruited Tiwa Savage and Rema. Several Stefflon singles follow this one, including Stefflon, including “Move,” “Don Walk” with Rymez, “Phone Down” with Lil Baby, and “Hit Me Up” and “Take Off” with Kojo Funds,” Additionally, she has appeared on recent tracks such as Kash Doll’s “How It’s Done,” “Link Up” with Geko, JP Cooper’s “The Reason Why,” and Wiley’s “Boasty,” Her official debut album is currently being worked on.
It took her until 2018 to finish her last full-length project, SECURE, which saw 16 cuts and included appearances by a number of high profile artists Fekky, Future, Tiggs Da Author, Haile, Popcaan, Sean Paul, Sizzla, and DJ Khaled. Furthermore, Stefflon joined a number of others in 2018 such as JID, Lil Pump, YBN Nahmir, Smokepurpp, and Trippie Redd XXL’s highly-anticipated Freshman class.
