Santan Dave, the very own rapper from South London, has released a new track from his forthcoming album We’re All Alone In This Together, which will be released on July 23. The collaborative effort between Dave and South London heavyweight Stormzy, “Clash”, is something the two have been eagerly anticipating. Fans have been asking for the track ever since it was initially teased on Twitter in June 2021 through a series of images of Stormzy and Dave at a video shoot. In the track, Dave continues to flex after flex:
‘Psychodrama’ is the follow-up to 2019’s project. I recently heard Dave share his reflections on the meaning of that specific project during a conversation. I believe the story behind an album is as valuable as the album itself. He says, “That story felt like my entire life leading up to that point in time.”. “It seemed like it was all coming together… That was a nice way to end that chapter, to have something immortalized about my family and my brothers. Naturally, being the way the song is structured and written, I was at an autobiographical place at the time. It’s straight to the point.”
The rapper has been releasing a few features on social media here and there. Her most recent collaborations include “Sore (Remix)” with Yaw Tog and Kwesi Arthur, and Ghetts’ “Skengman” on Conflict of Interest.
