A prime example of someone blurring the lines of genres and styles is Zubin, one of the rising stars in today’s music production community. The rising artist comes from New Jersey and has also learned engineering and mixing skills, which is helping him further accomplish his purpose. He is now delivering a sound that he describes as “epic, melodic, and powerful,” as influenced by the current frontrunners Noah “40” Shebib and Scott Storch.
Zubin has already established connections with artists like DMV’s YungManny and Xanman for the well-received drops “New Life,” and “My J’s” respectively for his latest,For that infectious song “Woke Up,” glvsshouse and Dek Amazing are joined by Koi. Harmonizing about the success of the artists (“She never used to call me, now she always call me”), and more.
In addition to the song’s audio and visual accompaniments, Declan Kyle has also created this video for “Woke Up” that focuses mainly on Zubin wandering through a warehouse, passing through different rooms created by each collaborator as they perform their part. After the video has ended, the producer makes his way out of the shot – perhaps symbolizing his transition from obscurity to fame.
