The track exudes trap intensity in between punchy 808s as 21 Lil Harold serves up woozy, yet immediately quotable bars. This record is one of Harold’s most personal and vulnerable records as he revisits childhood trauma and seeks a path to redemption. G Herbo counters with his sharp and scorching signature flow. Together, they unite the Midwest and the South on one undeniable and unstoppable banger. Directed by Diesel Films, the visual finds these two talents shining on screen together, locking into palpable and powerful chemistry as they rap without apology. Right out of the gate, 21 Lil Harold’s wavy funked-out flow takes hold over a tense beat. Although the track flips a sample of the Foster Sylvers classic “Misdemeanor,” the inspiration of the record stems from The D.O.C. hit record “It’s Funky Enough,” it builds towards a direct warning, “It’s robbin season.” To accompany this bold and blunt banger, he released a cinematic music video.
