Earlier this month, Saucy Santana shared a catchy new single called “Booty”, which features Latto’s assistance. The duo returns today (July 19) with a new music video to keep the celebration going. The new Jake Wilson-directed clip takes fans along with Santana and Latto as they hit a block party together to perform their summer dance anthem:
Fans jumped at the chance to hear “Booty” when it was first teased due to its familiar sample from Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s hit, “Crazy in Love.” Its iconic horns are a sample from Johnny Goldstein incorporated Poison Clan’s “Shake Whatcha’ Mama Gave Ya’” and “Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)” features The Chi-Lites, and KSHMR’s “Hey Ho Crowd Chant” into the bouncy rhythm of “Booty.”
A number of well-received projects have been released by Santana in the last year, including Outside and Keep It Playa, which includes contributions from City Girls, BeatKing, Kali, and Rubi Rose. In the following years, Santana has become an internet sensation thanks to viral hits like “Walk” and “Material Girl.” He has also delivered energetic performances at various events, including the red carpet pre-show for the BET Awards and Essence Fest After Dark.
