A rising artist from Pontiac Michigan, Big Norb has gathered over 11,000 streams for his single “Onna Bible”. And he has gained over 10,000 followers in just 2 weeks after being recognized by DetroitRapNews, The Timeline Podcast, and DaHubDetroit. He also caught the attention of producers, Detroit’s Los Boogie and FamousCurt, from the IslandBoyz group. He plans to release a new music video in November and a feature with BabyFxce E.
How did he get started rapping?
He started rapping when he was 9 years old, so he had a lot of time to perfect his craft. At 16 he got his own home studio and worked hard at it getting craft. At 20 he had a recording studio with YTE Artist YakTownJDG and photographer Terry Foster Jr. Now he’s about to start college semester at Mott Community College for music production. His passion for music is undeniable and he has been working very hard to get where he is now. The sky is not even close to being limited for him because big norb believes that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Big Norb wants to inspire others through music because he knows how inspiring it can be for himself.
What Makes him apart from others?
With his skills in creating new and fresh beats that can be mixed and made into many different styles, he has a very unique style of making music. He doesn’t like to stick to one genre; he likes to experiment with other genres such as r&b, rap, hip-hop, and pop. He also loves to play with instrumentals. His passion for music is what drives him every day to create more and more music. Big Norb always tries to make people smile or laugh while they listen to his music or even just when they hear it playing in their car. Big Norb is not only an artist but he is also a producer, songwriter, recording engineer, mixer, mastering engineer, and composer.
