Shelley FKA DRAM has been in the spotlight for quite some time after releasing his self-titled sophomore album, which featured collaborations with WATT, H.E.R., Erykah Badu, and Summer Walker. In the intervening years, the Virginia legend has remained largely off-the-wax, save for notable contributions to Young Roc “DO YOU GOT MOXIE?,” Westside Boogie “Aight” and Machinedrum “Star (Remix).”
The singer/songwriter is back with a brand new single this week titled “Chocolate Covered Strawberries,” along with co-producer Tane Runo. Accordingly, the crooner’s feelings are pretty intense about a special someone on the track:
A matching visualizer also comes with “Chocolate Covered Strawberries”, which shows Shelley feeding Strawberries Displaying the track on a nearby television and demonstrating it to women. While things are still pretty seductive, the rest of the clip keeps the same general vibe by showing everyone enjoying fruit.
Drink Sum Wtr released the new song in conjunction with a series of songs also featuring Sol Galeano and Wahid. Founded by designer Nigil Mack, All Flowers Group is a division of Ghostly International, a company that was founded by Ghostly International and Secretly. All of these individuals make up Mack’s team, including Chloé van Bergen, Kate Ebeling, and Kraegan Graves.
