Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, rising 23-year-old rapper Dustystaytrue has just shared his new single and video “IronMan” and announced the release of his new project Talk More Soon, out 8/19 via South Coast Music Group. “IronMan” is a crooning, emotive track from Dusty showcasing his melodic delivery and introspective lyricism over a smooth piano and rolling hi-hats. The song revolves around Dusty’s rise to stardom and his reflections on the wins and losses that come along with success, as demonstrated in the hook, “This designer feels like disguises that I’m hiding in/ I wear these chains around my heart to protect my neck, I feel like Iron Man”. The video shows Dusty performing the contemplative cut in a living room engulfed in flames and riding around his city alongside his familiar crew. Dustystaytrue is capitalizing on the hype following his noteworthy 2021 project True To Me with the release of Talk More Soon––out 8/19.
Connecticut-native Dustystaytrue struck on the scene in 2020 with his standout track “Never Change” (80m + streams) and has kept the momentum going ever since.
