Hitting the scene with the debut release of his first tracks as a recording artist, Iamflytrap is making a statement and is already being received positively by his fans.

While he never necessarily had dreams of becoming an artist himself, he always had a deep love and respect for music throughout his childhood and ever since. When the pandemic hit and Iamflytrap found himself with a little extra time on his hands, he decided to hop in the studio. While he’s been on the other side of the mic plenty of times, it was a whole new experience being the one crafting the beats. What originally started off as a part-time hobby has now turned into a full-time passion project.
To those coming up today, Iamflytrap would stress the importance of staying the course and remaining true to yourself. He knows that especially in the music industry, there will always be haters who try to make you doubt yourself, but you can’t let that penetrate your self image and what you think you’re capable of. The mental game is always going to be tough, especially when trying to make it as an independent artist, but if you persevere and get to the other side, it will all be worth it.

He respects all the networking he’s been able to do throughout his career, and is excited to see what possible collaborations might be in his future. He hopes to hop in the studio with some of the top artists of today, because he knows the wisdom and knowledge he can gain from them is invaluable.
