Parris LaDame has been in the spotlight since she released Mood Swings a few years back, a 10-song album that helped to solidify her reputation as the artist to watch. The song “Hang Up,” which was a standout from the album, became an overnight sensation after Issa Rae shared its lively video on Twitter. Afterwards, the media mogul spoke about “Hang Up” and its orange-haired creator in a television interview:
It was a random tweet that led me to discover Parris LaDame, and I really liked her song.”
In the meantime, the singer-songwriter has released several well-received singles like “Pop It,” “Be Careful,” “Chanel Bag,” and “Both Of Em.” Back in April, LaDame presented her new single, “Intro,” an energetic track that sees her delivering machine gun bars about being self-made despite fake friends and toxic relationships:
1600 Ale has also produced an accompanying visual for “Intro” that transports us to the hometown of LaDame. Watch how she prepares for the night out with her friends, how she hits the scene with them, how she enjoys her time in a strip club, and how she takes to the stage to perform “Intro” for the crowd. Finally, she gets a picture with Miami legend Trina before things come to an end.
