For an artist to grow in the industry, it is very essential for him to find a manager in order to distribute his tracks efficiently. The music world may seem laborious since one has to work through each step of the creation process, as well as advertising and promotion. Currently, we have one such Aspiring Individual who is an artist manager and a successful entrepreneur but most importantly an assistant for musicians.
Luke Nolimit is also known as Luke Hincapie is one of the prominent artist managers in the industry. He has offered many talented artists the opportunity to work with him and provide commendable services to promote their art. But it is also interesting to know how and when the thought of being a manager struck his mind and led him to this position.
It all started when his mother put him into a choir when he was a kid. He was not proficient at it and did not have the correct pitch but he was able to understand music and sonics since then. Soon after his graduation, Luke with some of his friends opened up a recording studio in Boca Raton, FL. He was a studio manager and since then he has been all into music. He aspires to work harder and harder until big names like Justin Beiber and Ariane Grande walk through the Door.
In our recent conversation with Luke, we learned about his favourite project. It is the GORDO project with Carnage. He enjoyed it the most while working on it. During the creation, he was close friends with carnage and both of them knew that they had the same vision from the very beginning.
Luke Nolimit has graciously disclosed the creative process behind all his work, something that his fans have eagerly been waiting to know.
He says, “To be honest, it isn’t nearly as difficult as many people believe. My writer Anders Grahn normally sends me a top-line over a simple rhythm he developed, which I listen to over and again before deciding on which artist it would be most suited to. Then, after we’ve determined which artist it should be sent to, the tinkering begins. Depending on the artist, they will react to remarks and recommendations in different ways. As a result, it’s something you’ll have to learn to cope with because creatives exist in their own universe.
I’ll sometimes send out recordings without hearing the final versions until they’re ready to be released. It’s the industry’s bittersweet side.”
He likes to do things in his own way without limiting himself, his talent, and the potential of his clients. It is very rare to see such an amazing music artist in the entertainment world who intends to make his clients his first preference.
