James Roan is officially back! If you haven’t heard of him, he’s one of the best rising talents out of Miami, Florida!! Ironically enough the South Florida scene is more known for its party and club scene, but James brings something fresh and new to the game. We’re so excited to see what’s in store on his 3rd studio album. He will be collaborating with fellow Miamian and producer Richy B. Richy is also a well versed talent in production, and can play multiple instruments! James has a lyrical approach to music but can also sing and has a great ability to structure songs. Think of him a “J. Cole meets Kanye meets Childish Gambino”. His last album “Power Forward” was more aggressive and true to the hip-hip sound and form. However, this new project will have a lot more emotion and will be more commercial friendly.
It will feature some local, semi-famous rappers, singers and even Latin artists! There will be guitars, pianos, synths, 808’s and other unorthodox sounds present. The album’s theme in “Elements of Life” is basically touching on every emotion that we experience that makes us human. Some listed are Love, Pain, Success, Heartbreak, Passion, Fun, Hunger, Anger, Joy, Lust, Victory, Defeat and Mental Health! This album goes from being mellow, to upbeat, to alternative to commercially lit! “We can’t wait for the world to hear what we have in store, because there’s no music out there like this at all”. Richy B has done a fantastic job on the production and coming up with sounds to complete this album and make it nothing less than a masterpiece!
It will be a total of around 12-13 songs on the record and believe you me, there’s something for everyone! No matter what type of music like, you will be able to enjoy something on here if not all of it. The album will be out soon on all major platforms sometime later this year.
