Mille Manny is a man of many talents. He’s a singer; a songwriter; an entertainer; an entrepreneur; a college student; a humanitarian. Only 19 years old, the Memphis, TN native has devoted his entire life to chasing a childhood dream of becoming a multi-faceted superstar. With the release of his latest single “Foreign Lover,” which is already being hailed as a classic in its own right, Manny’s rockstar ambitions are well within reach. The r&b-pop track, laced with a Caribbean vibe and produced by his college roommate, Joshua “Lil CEO Josh” Akhidenor, essentially tells the story of two people who are attracted to one another but face challenges because they are from two different worlds. The song has organically sparked radio airplay across the southeast and continues to pick up momentum in other regions however once the forthcoming visuals drop, they’re sure to create a viral moment. The name Mille Manny was born from the exclusive Richard Mille brand due to his deep-seated desire to manifest a top-tier lifestyle for himself as well as for his team. While the gifted young vet has multiple titles, you can’t call him a newcomer or a quitter. Manny has been dedicated to his vision and craft for over a decade. He grew his solid fanbase by performing wherever and whenever he could including the FedEx Forum, home of the Memphis Grizzlies before an audience of over 10k people. Manny’s hard work and consistency in his craft continued to pay off when he was invited to open for NLE Choppa, further amplifying his popularity. In 2019, Manny competed in the Lifetime reality tv series, “Ms. T’s Music Factory” and won but the victory was short-lived. The show was canceled before his episode aired. While he was disappointed, his attitude of excellence never wavered. As an artist and skilled basketball player who endured years of rejection before experiencing any rewards, Manny learned to frame every obstacle as an opportunity. The following year, he landed two sync placements on NBA 2k. His mindset has always been to think big and that anything is possible if you’re willing to grind for it. As a Sophomore at Tennessee State University, Manny is Gen Z’s hero for rejecting labels and limitations. While the city he calls home has a reputation for violence, especially within the hip-hop community, Manny represents something vastly different. He embraces his privileged upbringing, calling himself the Prince of Peace. His narrative includes a suburban childhood with supportive parents who instilled old-school values like hard work, keeping your word, and staying true to what you believe in. As a result, the word “can’t” is just not a part of his vocabulary or DNA. A trendsetter and not a wave rider, Manny coined the phrase Slick Cocky, which defines his smooth, self-assured yet respectful demeanor. He even built his entertainment empire around it, including a merch line. A generative force with equal parts charisma and musicality, this is just the beginning of what the world can look forward to from Mille Manny.
