Bravo’s “Married To Medicine” Dr. Heavenly Kimes was accompanied by her daughter Alaura Kimes when she traveled back home to Miami for the Orange Blossom Classic Elevation Experience where she empowered women and celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Woman. Fellow FAMU Alumni Rashan Ali was also present for the first event of Denny’s Orange Blossom Classic presented by Ready Life.
Hosted by WPLG Local 10 Alexis Frazier, guests gleaned from an influential panel of female leaders who have successfully cultivated corporate and entrepreneurial platforms to produce wealth while impacting and contributing to their communities.
Topics included Elevating in Corporate America, featuring Mahogani Chery, Head of Transformation, Engagement, and Belonging to Bacardi North America. Senior Manager, Amazon Web Service, ZsaVette Ellis Eze, and Celsius Senior Collegiate Marketing Manager, Lilliana Antequera, illuminated a perspective that isn’t as glamourized and discussed elevating through a ‘nine to five’ path.
Later in the day, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Kathy Hood and Rashan Ali continued the conversation by speaking on Elevating as an Entrepreneur While Elevating Your Brand.
