R&B singer/songwriter Rileyy Lanez has shared her latest single “Can’t Deny” via Columbia Records. The track adds to Rileyy’s arsenal of signature R&B tunes that pair her smooth vocals with catchy melodies.
Coinciding with today’s release, Rileyy has also announced her new EP Bittersweet, which will drop December 2. Executively produced by S.dot (Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige) and OG Parker (Megan Thee Stallion, Latto), the project will feature “Can’t Deny” as well as previously released tracks “4 Life,” “One of Them Nights,” and “Blessings.”
In speaking about “Can’t Deny”, Rileyy says “sometimes you have to remind people what they’re missing even when they already lost it.” Regarding Bittersweet, she continues “things that are sweet can turn bitter. This project shines a light on all parts of a relationship – the good and the bad. Even after being exposed to all sides, Bittersweet is about knowing when it’s worth fighting for.”
Born and raised in the Bronx, 21-year-old Rileyy Lanez pulls no punches with her heart-on-her sleeve R&B music. In 2020, Rileyy shared her debut EP Beautiful Mistakes. The 5-track project includes her original breakout song “I’m Leaving,” which has over 25.5M video views, “Foul Play,” and “Left 4 Me.” With each release, Rileyy Lanez continues to bring authenticity to the R&B genre as an emerging artist.
