Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter, Sonyaé, is gearing up for an exciting 2022. Debuting her first release of the year, Sonyaé unveils her new single titled “Cameras Watchin,” – a high-energy, fiery track that listeners are sure to love.
The track, produced by international DJ/producer Siobhan Bell, features a flipped sample of iconic pop star Britney Spears’ hit song “Toxic,” and expertly layers UK drill drums over a trap arrangement.
Throughout the song, Sonyaé harmonizes boastful lyrics with a confident attitude, delivering a catchy hook and vivid visual to match. Sonyaé expresses in the single how she will always attract and never chase.
“He think he my main, but I consider him an option,” she says on the track.
Sonyaé is in a lane of her own with “Cameras Watchin,” delivering the perfect mix of sensuality, confidence, and high-energy throughout the song.
As one of the most beloved collaborators in hip hop, Sonyaé’s work speaks for itself; having worked with talent such as Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Anderson .Paak, The Game, and more. She also is coming off of a 2021 Grammy nomination for co-writing “Collide” featuring Tiana Major9 and EARTHGANG off of Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack.
While Sonyaé is preparing for another big year, audiences are definitely in for a treat as they look forward to her upcoming, highly-anticipated project BLU.
