Referencing the song in an interview with media outlet Rated R&B last year, Bongo shared: “That record, to me, is the definition of less is more. Last month, Bongo contributed to three tracks for Mary J. Blige for her 14th studio project Good Morning Gorgeous with “No Idea,” “Love Will Never,” & “Here For It” featuring Anderson .Paak.. On the Hip Hop spectrum, Bongo placed on Jamaican American artist BEAM’s Alien project with “Hurt People” featuring Zacari and “Planet Beam.” Bongo also re-connected with Cordae for his recently released project From a Birds Eye View with “Gifted” featuring Roddy Ricch, which is still amassing critical acclaim since the single’s release in 2020.
