Currently preparing to embark on his debut album project, Morray is gearing up for its launch sometime this spring. The North Carolina-born artist treated his fans to the first single from the project back in March entitled “Still Here”, which featured Cordae. Here’s another one, “Momma’s Love,” that was released today (May 6). Amidst some excellent production by Buddah Bless, Morray dispenses some powerfully inspiring bars that express gratitude for the mother who raised him:
In 2021, Murray experienced a breakthrough year that shaped his career. During the spring of 2013, he released his mixtape Street Sermons, which featured the single “Quicksand”. Having just come off The Off-Season, he may have been best known for his vocals on J Cole’s “m y . l i f e,” a song featuring 21 Savage that peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 later the trio went on tour throughout North America to promote the album. As a final note, Fayetteville would be joining Flo Milli, 42 Dugg, Pooh Shiesty, Toosii, Coi Leray, and Blxst in XXL’s newest class of Freshmen.
