“Aight” is the brand new single from Westside Boogie, released today (April 22). Boogie’s song, featuring Shelley (formerly known as DRAM), marks the beginning of the album rollout as the first single. In “Aight,” the duo smoothly rides some West Coast-influenced production to amplify their West Coast influences:
Almost three years have passed since the release of Boogie’s debut album Everythings for Sale. This critically acclaimed album included 13 tracks as well as contributions from Snoh Aalegra, JID, Christian Scott, 6LACK, Shaé Universe, and Eminem. In the years since, Boogie has released dozens of freestyles set to notable instrumentals, including Louie Ray and YN Jay “Coochie,” CJ “Whoopty,” Moneybagg Yo “Said Sum,” among others, but he has also performed new material like “Float” and “Contradictions.” Boogie made his official return in December when he released “Outside,” the product of his collaborative work with Joey BADA$$.
