Multi-hyphenate is a term that refers to individuals who hold many skills or professions, especially in the entertainment industry. The word may not resonate for the average person, but for artist and businessman Yung Gwapa, the term ‘multi-hyphenate’ fully embodies his brand.
Hailing from the southside of Chicago, Yung Gwapa has spent his career donning many professional hats, including label head, artist manager, actor, and clothing designer, amongst many others. Most recently, though, the young businessman is making waves for returning to his musical roots. In a move that has ended a three-year musical hiatus, Yung Gwapa is back with a new release, titled “Juug.”
The track, which features an addictive melody, and catchy hook, stands as a trap anthem that, according to his team, is “a step back in the right direction for Yung Gwapa.”
“Juug” is available on all streaming platforms, and the track serves as the sonic prelude to several projects the versatile creative has in the works.
“My forthcoming album NO is coming late March, early April,” Gwapa shared. “Also, I have my label, BLACK HEART Music Group, and my new clothing line Richigh The Brand. My clothing and artists are all going to be present in an upcoming 25 episode series I’m working on,” he added.
