The 2023 Red Bull BC One Paris World Final signals towards breaking’s highly anticipated sporting debut at the 2024 Paris Games. Breakers around the world are actively training in hopes of representing their country.
Born and raised in California, Logan Edra, aka Logistx, was just seven when she started breaking. Inspired by local breakers at a San Diego dance studio, she was instantly hooked. First by the crazy moves, and second by the teacher, a fellow B-Girl who showed Logistx that it was possible to thrive in a male-dominated scene. Given the name Logistx by her father, who noticed that she always needed a logistical plan for everything she did, the young breaker first gained traction on the scene thanks to her high-level powermoves. Constantly evolving and pushing her craft, she’s continuously gaining knowledge and insight by exploring the various elements of dance, choreography, art, and music. She is the returning champion, having won the Red Bull BC One World Finals in 2021. Previously, she won NBC’s World of Dance and was featured on the Ellen Degeneres Show.
Victor Montalvo, known as B-Boy Victor,is 2022 world champion of the Red Bull BC One World Finals. This is the second time the 28-year-old B-Boy, who hails from Kissimmee, Florida, has taken home the Red Bull BC One World Finals title, having won the competition previously in 2015 when the event was held in Rome, Italy.
Victor’s other title wins include the 2015 Silverback Open championships (which he also won again in 2018), winning the Undisputed World B-Boy Series in 2015 and 2017, and winning Outbreak Europe in Slovakia in 2017 and 2019. He has also won the 2019 World Urban Games in Budapest, Hungary, and the 2021 WDSF World Breaking Championships in Paris, France.
Victor is a member of Squadron, MF Kidz, Red Bull BC One All Stars, and Back Yard Funk. His signature moves include his one-hand spin, which he calls the Super Montalvo, and his back-flip-into-flare combo.
